Staff Nurse - RN - Pediatrics - Home Care jobs in Pennsylvania
Staff Nurse - RN - Pediatrics - Home Care provides professional nursing care to assigned pediatric patients in a home care environment. Records patient histories, performs various diagnostic tests, administers medications, and develops patient home care plans in conjunction with other medical professionals. Being a Staff Nurse - RN - Pediatrics - Home Care performs examinations and prescribed procedures, operating and monitoring medical equipment as necessary. Observes patients' progress and records observations in patient medical records. Additionally, Staff Nurse - RN - Pediatrics - Home Care promotes patients' independence by teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in nursing. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Requires a valid state RN license. Staff Nurse - RN - Pediatrics - Home Care's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Certification and/or licensing in the position's specialty is the main requirement. Job Description
Helping Hand Nurse, LLC is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for our home health patients. Helping Hand Nurse is a home health care agency. We provide nonmedical and medical services.
Available Shifts:
Must be willing to do admissions!
Short and long visits/shifts are also available
We are willing to work with the employee's schedule and can give as little or as many hours as he or she wants. Part time or full time is available.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Provide one-to-one care in the home
Take directions from clinical team
Follow plan of care
Directs and guides patient/family teaching and activities while maintaining standards of care
Communicates with the physician about changes in the patient's clinical condition.
Ability to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.
Follow all clinical and office policies
Job Requirements:
· RN License
· Clean background and criminal record
· CPR certified
· Knowledge of computerized documentation and office software required
