Registered Nurse for Home Assist

The Visiting Nurse Association of Ohio is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Registered Nurse for our Home Assist department in Western Cuyahoga County. This role is ideal for compassionate individuals eager to innovate in healthcare.  To be successful in this position you need to have good assessment skills, experience with blood draws and  interested in pioneering a differnt healthcare model.    

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and evaluate nursing care.
• Implement prevention, therapeutic, and rehabilitative nursing practices.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to emergencies.
• Maintain patient comfort and safety.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Experience in home health care and medical-surgical nursing preferred.
• Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Education:

• RN licensed in Ohio; diploma, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• 1-2 years of experience in a medical-surgical or hospital setting preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and CPR certification required.
