Position Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Pediatrics

Location: Fairbanks, AK

Employment Type: Full-Time

Shift Information:

• Shift Length: 12-hour nights
• On-call Requirement: As needed
• Holiday Requirement: Per unit needs

Start Date: ASAP (Onboarding process approximately 5-8 weeks)

Compensation:

• Base Hourly Pay: $36.42-$60.33 based on overall years of experience as an RN
• Sign-On Bonus: $10,000-$15,000 retention bonus

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural, and discharge planning needs.
• Review patient history and physical with patient/family and ensure completion within the appropriate timeframe.
• Review available information obtained by other healthcare team members and analyze diagnostics and laboratory data.
• Report abnormal results to physicians and other appropriate caregivers.
• Complete assessments and reassessments according to patient need and as outlined in policy.
• Formulate a plan of care, including the discharge plan, utilizing assessment data and patient, family, and health team input.
• Initiate a plan of care based on patient-specific needs, assessment data, and the medical plan of care.
• Set realistic and measurable goals for the patient in conjunction with the patient and family.

Required Qualifications:

• 1 year of experience as a PEDS RN (PICU RN experience will also be considered)

Licenses and Certificates Required:

• Must possess an AK RN license prior to starting
• BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications required
