Staff Nurse - RN - Pediatrics jobs in Lima, OH

Brightstar care is looking for a compassionate Registered Nurse to care for a young adult in the home Monday, Tuesday, and Friday from 9a-4p.

Tasks at include tube feedings, ADLs, ileostomy support, cardiac monitioring and general medical supervision. Supplemental shifts are available supplement other hours to create your perfect schedule.

No weekends are required though all 3 days must be able to be worked for the private duty client. Benefits eligibility including free dental is available at 30 hrs. per week. Mix and Match assignments to meet your needs!

_ In home infusion opportunites are available for a Registered Nurse RN with IV skills. _

We ensure our Registered Nurse RNs have the skills they need to be successful in caring for our clients through competency demonstration in our on-site simulation lab. We also offer client-specific skill enhancement opportunities in the home when indicated. Necessary personal protective equipment is provided so that you can feel confident and safe when you care for your clients.

Requirements:

Current, valid state NH RN license in good standing

Ability to obtain BLS CPR certification.

Recent wellness exam and negative TB skin test (provided if needed)

Ability to pass a background screening and drug test.

Ensures confidentiality and security of the client's medical information.

Must be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push, and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
