Staff Nurse - RN - Psychiatric Unit provides professional nursing care to assigned patients with varying levels of mental health disorders and/or intellectual and developmental disabilities, including outpatients and psychiatric inpatients. Works as part of an interdisciplinary medical team to evaluate patients and develop treatment plans. Being a Staff Nurse - RN - Psychiatric Unit administers medications, monitors patient progress, and records observations in patient medical records. Promotes patients' independence by teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills. Additionally, Staff Nurse - RN - Psychiatric Unit may supervise lower-level nurses. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in nursing. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Busy psychiatric practice looking to add PMHNP with unencumbered prescriptive authority. Practitioners will meet with clients in an outpatient setting to evaluate and manage psychiatric and substance abuse issues. Population will be ages 18 and up. Minimum of 10 hours a week required, but more are available.
MAT/MOUD experienced required.
Scheduling, billing, EMR, and E-scribing is provided.
Salary is negotiable depending on qualifications.
