The Standard Work Coordinator is responsible for supporting of Operational Excellence across the facility. This position is responsible for the development of training content and standard work for all departments. Incumbent will also partner with Production Operations, Safety and Engineering.
Under limited supervision, develop and document standard work which includes detailing steps and stages of task execution for operator training. Standard work development will include interacting with cross-functional teams in a heavy manufacturing environment for information that will be documented in various media.
Demonstrating respect for others and teamwork is a must. This position will observe confidentiality of all customer and company information. Accomplishes work standards by following productivity and quality processes within each department to enforce a level of uniformity to improve operational performance, cost reduction through decreased process errors and facilitation of communication.
Ensure all information is updated and logged by conducting regular analysis of processes and procedures and making adjustments when necessary. Internally communicate documents, including handouts and emails, to inform operation supports of important notices.
Present progress and results of task to operations management through internal communications, including handouts and emails, to inform of important notices referencing continuous improvements.
