Being a Stock Room Clerk checks order forms, delivery requests, and approval forms to ensure proper documentation, accuracy, and on time deliveries. Takes inventory and identifies reorder needs for supervisor approval. In addition, Stock Room Clerk requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Being a Stock Room Clerk works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Responsibilities:
Assist with the ordering of office supplies and equipment
Organize storage rooms and keep stock areas clean and tidy
Deliver supplies to different departments as needed
Receive, organize, and manage office supplies and materials
Track and maintain accurate inventory records
Restock shelves and ensure adequate supply levels for office needs
Coordinate with vendors for orders and deliveries
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Basic computer skills (familiarity with inventory systems is a plus)
Ability to lift and move boxes of supplies (up to 40 lbs)
