Responsibilities

• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the cash register.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and addressing concerns.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, ensuring it is stocked with necessary supplies.
• Assist with product demonstrations to promote sales and enhance customer engagement.
• Upsell products by suggesting complementary items during the checkout process.
• Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while adhering to company policies regarding cash handling.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
• Carry out various other duties as needed.

Experience

• Previous experience in retail sales or as a cashier is preferred but not required.
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as this can enhance communication with diverse customers.
• Familiarity with POS system, preferred.
• Strong phone etiquette skills for handling customer inquiries over the phone when needed.
• Experience with stock management and product placement within the store is a plus.

Pay: $8.00 - $8.50 per hour
