Davis-Standard has an immediate opening in the Fulton, New York location for a Dockworker/Storeroom Attendant, to help support Inventory and Shipping & Receiving.

The Attendant will assist many of the duties that are related to both inventory stocking, counting, and organizational duties, as well as shipping and receiving responsibilities as well. 

Duties would include, but not be limited to: 

• Performing various stock storage, selection and inventory duties following prescribed procedures
• Working from packing lists, routings and general instructions
• Unloading trucks and receiving inventory
• Store and disburse stock items purchased or manufactured
• Count, check and store incoming items
• Record receipt and withdrawal, maintaining proper and accurate stock and inventory records
• Store in designated locations; which may include arranging and rearranging stored items
• Fill material lists for production and assembly departments/team members
• Detect defective materials and report shortages or when stock is low
• Make periodic inventory checks
• Update records properly and accurately
• Place and record identification location of items pulled
• Release jobs pulled to production floor
• Process and follow up shortages and paperwork to job assigned for production
• Move and handle materials; use material handling devices
• Detect faulty operations, defective items and follow standard safety regulations
• Maintain good housekeeping in area
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor
