Position Overview:

The Director of Strategic Communications will lead the development and execution of comprehensive communication strategies that enhance the visibility, reputation, and impact. This role will collaborate with executive leadership, marketing, public relations, and other key stakeholders to create compelling narratives that communicate our mission, vision, and strategic priorities. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a strong background in healthcare communications, public relations, and media management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement an integrated communications strategy aligned with the organization's mission, vision, and business objectives.
• Oversee internal and external communications, including media relations, public relations, executive communications, and digital content.
• Lead crisis communication efforts, providing strategic guidance and ensuring a consistent and effective response.
• Manage and mentor a team of communication professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
• Work closely with senior leadership to shape and deliver key messages to various stakeholders, including employees, patients, community partners, and media.
• Create and execute content strategies that leverage multiple channels, including digital, social media, print, and events.
• Monitor and analyze communication metrics to assess effectiveness and inform future strategies.
• Act as a spokesperson for the organization, building and maintaining relationships with media outlets and key influencers.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to ensure the organization's communications are cutting-edge and effective.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s
• Proven experience in developing and executing communication strategies within the healthcare industry.
• Strong understanding of media relations, crisis management, and digital communications.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical skills and experience using data to inform strategic decision-making.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
