Capex Sourcing Manager:

 - Manage the capex supplier selection process for new product development projects. Evaluate potential suppliers based on their technical capabilities, quality systems, capacity, pricing, etc. Select suppliers that best meet the project requirements.

 - Lead negotiations with selected suppliers on job specifications, pricing, payment terms, quality targets, delivery schedules, tooling requirements, etc. Negotiate contracts and agreements that are fair to both parties.

 - Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and procurement teams to understand the technical and business requirements for equipment and tools needed. Translate these into clear supplier specifications and expectations.

-Supporting R&D NPI project teams through milestones and ensuring stage gate assignments are completed thru APQP process

 - Manage tooling and equipment procurement from suppliers. Ensure tooling & equipment is delivered on-time to meet production start dates. 

 -Proactively work with cross functional team to identify risks and mitigate NPI launch issues.

 -Has a sense of urgency

 - Build and maintain strong collaborative relationships with key suppliers. Work to gain their commitment to project timelines and deliverables. Coordinate frequently to resolve issues.

 - Monitor supplier performance throughout the product development and launch process. Track progress against job specifications, quality metrics, timelines, etc. Hold suppliers accountable. Provide feedback for continuous improvement.

 - Identify new supplier opportunities and conduct supplier audits/assessments on an ongoing basis to develop additional sourcing options.
