Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Sourcing Specialist to join our dynamic team in SC. This role will be crucial in supporting our sales organization as a C-class commodities sourcing expert.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing new and existing product opportunities across our global

OEM customer base, providing both support functions and direct customer account management.

Responsibilities :

• Act as a sourcing expert, delivering competitive solutions for fastener, mechanical fabrication, and electrical product groups.
• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to identify sourcing requirements accurately.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and supplies.
• Evaluate material availability, cost, and delivery times to make informed decisions.
• Effectively negotiate material costs to contribute towards achieving company annual financial goals.
• Review all material quotes to ensure acceptability of price, price range, and payment terms.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of materials available in the marketplace and within our supply chain.
• Support purchasing activity as required.

Requirements :

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field preferred.
• 5-10 years of experience in distribution or supply chain management.
• Possess a strong understanding of sourcing principles and best practices.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
• Capability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
