Duties/Responsibilities:- Manage inventory tracking to record deliveries, shipments, and stock levels
- Evaluate deliveries, shipments, and product levels to improve inventory control procedures.
- Place orders to replenish stock avoiding insufficiencies or excessive surplus
- Manage deliveries and shipments to optimize operations
- Communicate with management to meet business goals and address stock and purchasing issues
- Develop business relationships with suppliers and clients
- Act as liaison with suppliers, establishing strong working relationships, and comparing material prices to pursue the most equitable course in line with business objectives
- Propose strategies to reduce costs and improve procedures of supply chain logistics
- Monitor demand and analyzes data to anticipate future supply and logistical needs
- Work with engineering on R & D projects and sourcing
- Sourcing of new materials and suppliers
- Track supplier production schedules ensuring key critical store delivery needs are met
- Manage ERP System by providing support, input data, investigate and trouble shoot discrepancies
Desired Skills/Abilities:- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Analytical, problem solving, and collaboration skills
- Experience with complex logistics planning, vendor relationship management, and forecasting
- Knowledge and familiarity of electronic components
- Strong proficiency with ERP software and spreadsheets
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Self-starter and accountable
Education and Experience:- Bachelor's degree in business management, logistics, or a relevant field is preferred
- At least two years’ purchasing experience working specifically with electronic components
- Experience with international logistics is desirable
- Inventory management experience is also desirable
- APICS certification is a plus
