Job Description
Position Summary
-
Assist in the processing of all refunds to include financial aid, non-financial aid and agency refunds. Coordinate with Financial Aid office to process financial aid refunds.

Assist in the enrollment cancellation to remove students from registration in accordance with established guidelines. This requires coordination with the Financial Aid office.

Void and redo receipts as needed.
- Establish PeopleSoft Table setup - Setup and test new fee assessments and item types. Perform testing to ensure everything is working correctly. Work with the Controller's office to update GL accounts.
- Analyze all PeopleSoft bundle update notices to identify the items affecting MyCSN Student Financial Module.

Perform extensive testing to ensure that the bundle updates will not impair the current setup of fee assessment, queries, query based updates (QBUs) and equations. Ensure scheduled jobs interface correctly with the financial system.

Review batch jobs containing nightly QBUs daily. Reconcile batch jobs to student accounts to ensure all transactions are updated in the system.

Perform trouble shooting immediately if any of these batch jobs are not processed successfully. Follow the protocol to inform supervisor and related department(s) of the issue.

Review student data for 1098-T reporting. Run a query to identify erroneous TINs and take steps to solicit valid TIN, including distribution of student communications and coordination with the registrar's office. Coordinate with other NSHE schools and SCS for the reviewing, testing, printing, and mailing of 1098-T forms.
Minimum Qualifications:

Previous experience with People Soft Student Financials.
- Ability to work independently.
- Effective communication skills: interpersonal, oral, written.

Must have the ability to work remotely.

Must be willing to train as needed.
