Sets up social events and has a participatory role in the Greek system, the student government, and student run clubs. Being a Student Activities Director approves funding for various student activities. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Student Activities Director typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Student Activities Director manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. To be a Student Activities Director typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 to 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Duties:

    - Develop and implement a comprehensive activities program that meets the physical, emotional, and social needs of our residents

    - Plan and organize a variety of recreational therapy programs, including group activities, outings, and special events

    - Collaborate with the care team to ensure that activities are tailored to each resident's interests, abilities, and care plan

    - Manage the activity calendar and schedule, ensuring a diverse range of activities are offered throughout the week

    - Maintain accurate records of resident participation in activities and evaluate the effectiveness of programs

    - Coordinate with external vendors and community organizations to enhance the activity program

    - Ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines related to activities in a nursing home setting
