Student Activities Officer assists in the development, organization, and oversight of the university/college's extra-curricular programs. Sets up social events and has a participatory role in the Greek system, the student government, and student run clubs. Being a Student Activities Officer approves funding for various student activities. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Student Activities Officer typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Student Activities Officer gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Must be 16 years or older and have reliable transportation.
