    This opportunity is perfect for educators, retirees, stay-at-home parents, or anyone with flexible time seeking meaningful, part-time work. As a coordinator, you will connect international high school students with volunteer host families, enriching their lives and your community.

    About Us: International Student Exchange is a leading non-profit organization founded in 1982 that sponsors approximately 2,500 high school exchange students annually. We are looking for dynamic, self-motivated individuals with strong community ties and excellent communication skills to join our team as Cultural Exchange Coordinators.

    Your Role:

    • Build and maintain relationships with local schools and families
    • Recruit and screen volunteer host families
    • Match high school exchange students with host families for a successful placement
    • Provide ongoing support and supervision throughout the exchange year

    What We’re Looking For:

    • Aged 25 or older with solid people skills
    • Previous or current experience working with teens
    • Ability to set your own goals and manage flexible hours
    • Access to a computer and reliable transportation
    • Willingness to travel within a 120-mile radius (as needed)
    • Passion for working with international students and fostering cross-cultural connections
    • Ability to pass a background check
