Position Summary: The Program Coordinator for Student Life oversees office operations, while supporting the Vice President of Student Life and Assistant Vice President of Student Life with various tasks.  This is a full time, 37.5 hours per week position. 

Responsibilities:

• Assist with office operations including, but not limited to, ordering supplies, processing Student Life forms, student information management in Campus Anywhere program; providing customer service to internal and external constituents, process fines/fees/budget requests, maintain the ID printer and office printer, and managing calendar appointments.
• Maintain a professional office appearance of the Student Life office and lobby.
• Manage reservations for the Rigel Conference room.
• Supervise Student Life student workers including scheduling, one-on-one meetings, professional development training, and approve all Student Life timecards; etc.
• Assist the Director of Spiritual Formation and Chapel and Coordinator of Outreach and Ministry in supporting the chapel services and managing spiritual growth credits.
• Support with the Director of Community Life with special programs and projects.
• Assist the Residence Life staff with housing operations including data management, reporting, and assisting with email communications.
• Coordinate with Director of Community Life and Residence Life staff in providing required information and services to incoming students and .
• Assist with compliance tasks including the retrieval of student immunization records through MedProctor, manage health insurance waivers, assist with compliance with the Drug Free Schools Act, tracking completion of alcohol/drug and sexual assault online training.
• Create marketing pieces for department events and manage any set-up or planning needed.
• Assist with budget tracking and reports.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Must be proficient in all Microsoft Office programs and in all Google Document programs.
• Must have attention to detail and organizational qualities.
• Must be flexible, able to multitask and manage multiple areas at a time.
• Must be able to work with others and alone.
• Must be a self-starter and be able to take the initiative on tasks.
• Must be confident in proof reading abilities.

Working Relationships:  The Program Coordinator is a member of the Student Life team and reports to the Vice President for Student Life.

Work Schedule:  Expected working hours for this position are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Additional hours as needed for significant department or university events.
