We are looking for a Director of Nursing to join our Team at Union Pines Surgery Center (UPSC) in Tulsa.
Located on the Tulsa Bone & Joint Associates campus, UPSC is an 8 OR facility with 2 additional pain management rooms. Fully accredited through The Joint Commission. Our new, state of the art facility opened in 2020, providing high quality cost effective orthopedic outpatient care. Currently doing 9,500 procedures/surgeries a year with including >600 total joint replacements and expanding spine surgery.
Position Summary: Serves as nursing officer for the ASC advocating the vision/mission and creating an environment for success. Manages daily clinical operations overseeing patient care activities in the facility including 8 ORs, 2 pain management rooms, 5 extended care overnight beds, anesthesia contractors and 70 staff members. Reporting to the Administrator, will act as the liaison between medical staff, patients and executive administration to guarantee the success of the department. Ensures policies and procedures are being followed to provide optimal care daily and assure compliance with CMS, state and The Joint Commission standards/regulations.
