Position Summary:

Deposit Operations Manager is responsible for supervising and coordinating the daily activities of the Assistant Deposit Operations Manager, Deposit Processing Associates, and EFT Associates. Ensure accuracy and timeliness in the completion of operational related services such as ATM/ITM administration, cash ordering for branches, Fed cash letter/Fed returns and adjustment processing, mobile deposit processing, wire transfers and teller support requests. Ensure accurate and timeliness of electronic funds transfers are completed for both consumer and business members as applicable.

Essential Functions:

• Lead, coach and develop staff members to ensure exceptional performance in the areas of service, growth, profitability, and operational efficiency.
• Reinforce the Credit Union’s vision, mission, and values by serving as a culture agent, motivating employees to achieve higher standards and promoting a commitment to excellence in service and technology-driven products and processes.
• Develop and execute an annual departmental strategic plan to support and contribute to the achievement of the Credit Union’s overall strategic initiatives.
• Manage maintenance, development and writing of operational policies and procedures for all department functions.
• Coordinate functions and personnel to provide quality, efficient support to all other departments and branches of the credit union.
• Manage daily activities of the Assistant Deposit Operations Manager, Deposit Processing Associates, and EFT Associates.

• Ability to work 7:30pm Th, 6:30pm Fri, on a rotation basis.
• Ability to travel.

Education / Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Must have prior managerial experience, preferably in a financial institution.
• Three plus years of Deposit Operations and/or EFT experience preferred.
