Grand Blanc Surgical Specialist is seeking an experienced and certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our team on a part-time basis. This role involves approximately 25 hours per week, depending on the physician's schedule.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Manage and respond to patient calls related to medical care.
• Manage the surgical schedule for the providers.
• Room patients, obtain vitals, administer injections, and assist with small surgical procedures.
• Coordinate and schedule surgeries, enter orders for imaging and surgery, and process documents related to patient care.
• Perform administrative and/or clinical tasks as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification.
• Proficient use of EClinicalWorks.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining close collaboration with assigned provider(s).
• Experience with clinic flow, such as patient rooming, removing stitches, prepping patients for procedures, and more.
