What you will do:
The Title Supervisor is responsible for the oversight of our title processing and invoicing sections. This involves administering programs, systems, and overseeing staff that audit title applications. This individual will also be responsible for monitoring overall compliance with South Dakota law and department policies in their section. They will develop plans for productivity improvements in the processing operations. This individual will need to work with public officials, business owners, and citizens of the state to resolve complex and sensitive issues. This position requires some in-state and out-of-state travel.
As a leader of our Processing and Invoicing section this individual is responsible for staff members and will lead them to complete the title and paperwork processes in a timely and efficient manner. They will also continually look for ways to improve our processes in terms of procedures, reduction of errors, and customer service. They will also work with the other leadership team members to help accomplish Motor Vehicle Division goals.
Duties will include prioritizing and monitoring staff activities, providing technical assistance, and conducting training. This position will work closely with County Offices, out of state contacts, national organizations, and other customers to provide technical guidance on tax, titling, and registration issues and resolve issues or complaints.
