Supply Chain Analyst monitors and expedites the flow of goods, resources, and information required by the supply chain to ensure that critical processes run effectively and achieve organizational goals and performance KPIs. Coordinates with procurement, production, inventory control, distribution, transportation, and other functions to optimize the supply chain. Being a Supply Chain Analyst identifies bottlenecks or problem areas and escalates or proposes solutions. Works with suppliers to resolve issues. As Supply Chain Analyst, you will be the SSPL (substandard product loss) project manager for the Oak Creek manufacturing facility. Scope includes finished good, and raw material obsolescence, defective and other inventory at risk. This role will manage teammates through root cause analysis and avoidance projects for defective and obsolescence inventory. The Supply Chain Analyst will manage teams to consume current on hand defective, excess and obsolete inventory to reduce working capital exposure. This role will develop, and measure key performance metrics published weekly and monthly to the PPG leadership team. This role will report to the Oak Creek Supply Chain Manager.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead local functional teams to drive root cause and corrective action plans for dispositions and avoidance.
* Lead regional team meeting to present performance indictors and forward-looking projections of inventory risk and disposal.
* Manage system workflows to ensure action and progress with assigned owners.
* Plant liaisons for all defective and obsolete inventory to the PPG leadership team.
* Develop and report key performance indicators to plant and leadership team.
* Escalate as needed any SSPL or inventory management concerns and bottle necks.
Qualifications
* 5 years' experience in Supply Chain or Operations in a manufacturing environment.
* Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Preferred.
* APICS certification Preferred.
* Oracle ERP experience
* Strong skills in Microsoft Excel (can perform complex functions), Power BI
* Strong data analysis skills
* Analytical and strategic thinker
