Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistic Coordinator to join our team. As a Logistic Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the movement of goods, coordinating shipments, and ensuring efficient warehouse operations. This is a vital role in our supply chain management process.

Responsibilities:

• Provide quotes for the movement of freight for LTL and TL shipments.
• Anticipate, identify, and resolve problems which could delay the timely release or movement of freight.
• Resolve billing issues and ensure that invoicing and vendor payments are billed accurately.
• Complete accurate data input or corrections into computer files.
• Ensure all communication with internal and external customers is updated timely
• Responsible for freight forwarding functions, which consist of: coordinating customer booking requests, setting-up new shipper, and more.
• Track and trace functions, including entry of all milestones and exceptions.
• Coordinate oversized and out of gauge shipments.
• Handle overages, shortages and damages.
• Handle insurance claims

Qualifications:

• High school diploma/GED.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Strong customer service and communication (written/oral) skills.
• Knowledge of freight forwarding or logistic required.
• Knowledge of the NMFC classes and how to use the Class IT book
• Familiarity with TMS systems.
• Familiarity with handling hazardous materials.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in freight forwarding or logistics or work/field experience.

Pay: $42,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
