Based in Reykjavík, Iceland, Arctic Trucks operates worldwide with 5 production facilities in Europe and our new facility in Cheyenne, WY.

Arctic Trucks seeks an experienced Supply Chain professional with a passion for all things automotive. The successful candidate will take on a wide-ranging set of strategic and tactical responsibilities, from creating Bills of Material to quoting parts and purchasing all production materials to developing inspection and inventory processes.

In the Supply Chain Specialist role, you will:

• Work with Engineering and Production teams to develop accurate Bills of Material for all products.
• Gather usage, pricing, and technical information to make recommendations on stocking levels and purchase quantities
• Send RFQ’s and gather pricing information to ensure best-in-class pricing, quality, and delivery
• Issue Purchase Orders and track delivery of all production and MRO material, resolving delivery and shipping issues and ensuring materials are available to support the production schedule
• Inspect, receive and stock incoming materials
• Resolve quality slips and other supplier issues professionally and proactively
• Monitor stock levels and identify purchasing needs
• Update internal databases with order details (dates, suppliers, quantities, discounts, pricing)
• Complete periodic spend analysis to identify savings opportunities and operational efficiency improvements
• Ensure complete and organized documentation of orders, deliveries, BOM’s, and other work products.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Working understanding of all Microsoft Office products
• Strong Communication skills (verbal and written)
• 2-5 years’ experience as a buyer, planner, commodity manager or similar role
• Good understanding of supply chain procedures
• Knowledge of design and release processes, quality managerment and inventory management
• Experience in both an office environment and a manufacturing facility
• Great attention to detail and organization skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• ERP experience
• Experience in the automotive industry
• Passion for the outdoors, exploration, and the environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $48,000.00 - $56,000.00 per year
