Surgeon - Cardiothoracic jobs in Amherst, CO

SRMC is searching for a Board-Certified General Surgeon to join our team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and treat acute, chronic, and complex medical conditions.
• Perform surgery to treat conditions and injuries.
• Provide excellent patient care.
• Create and recommend treatment plans.
• Intake patient medical histories.
• Update patient information and charts with the latest findings and treatments.
• Order tests for health care staff to administer.
• Review and interpret test results.
• Respond to questions and concerns from patients about their health care and well-being.
• Work with various medical staff such as CRNA’s, family practice providers, and nurses to provide extraordinary patient care.
• Potential to provide APP oversight and respond timely to their needs.
• Rotational call required.

Requirements:

• Board certified General Surgeon from an accredited medical school.
• Current, or must be able to obtain, M.D. licensure in the State of Nebraska.
• Certification in BCLS, ACLS, ATLS and PALS required; SRMC will help obtain.
• Current, or must be able to obtain, State and DEA Licenses.
