We are seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist to join our patient care team. We are requiring that the candidate has 2-3 years of front desk Medical Office experience. The position is for our Novi & Howell locations. This position necessitates significant contact with physicians, patients and their families, thus warranting a high degree of interpersonal and customer service skills that promote a caring and healing environment. Candidates must be able to perform in a fast paced environment. Duties would include but may not be limited to: Checking in patients at the front desk, verifying patients insurances, collecting copay's and deductibles, checking patients out and scheduling their follow up appointments, any testing order by the provider, and entering patient data into the EHR system etc. We are looking for an individual with strong problem solving abilities, the ability to work independently as well as with a team and has administrative experience. We use Allscripts PM to schedule appointments and Allscripts EHR for our medical records.
