Surgeon - Plastic Reconstructive examines, diagnoses, and surgically treats patients that have abnormal structures of the body caused by congenital defects, developmental abnormalities, trauma, infection, tumors, or disease. Performs surgery to improve functions and to approximate a normal appearance. Being a Surgeon - Plastic Reconstructive reviews patient history and confirms need for surgery. Determines which instruments and method of surgery will be most successful in achieving desired outcome. Additionally, Surgeon - Plastic Reconstructive may provide medical personnel with direction concerning patient care. May provide in-service training as needed to address new technology in health care treatment. Provides charting in compliance with all laws and regulations. Requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Typically reports to the chief of surgery. Requires a license to practice. Mold Setup Technician

  • The Lead Setup Technicianis responsible for mold set-ups, start-ups, changes, and process monitoring during production runs. This position supports production to ensure efficient operations and continual improvements. The Lead Setup Technician work with the Setup Coordinator to provide training, guidance, assistance, and direction to Setup Technicians in production mold changes.

    2. Competence / Responsibility

    · Follows all company safety procedures and practices

    · Follows preventative maintenance procedures for all production machinery

    • Provides support and advice to Setup Technicians to ensure mold changes are safely completed as scheduled
    • Changes molds accurately according to company procedure / checklist
    • Makes recommendations for changes in working environment and modifications in machines and equipment for continuous improvement
    • Provides oversight to machine start-up as well as daily operations, designing, installing, and commissioning new production units, monitoring development (i.e., Modifications and upgrades) and troubleshooting existing processes
    • Supports installation of new equipment for manufacturing
    • Confers with Department Manager, Setup Coordinator, and Production Manager concerning maintenance and mold change matters; prepares time and equipment reports; receives and investigates employee concerns or complaints about equipment and takes corrective action
    • Maintains appropriate records and prepares relevant reports
    • Leads Setup Technicians by guiding, assisting, and directing in Cumberland standards for mold changes
    • Communicates with prior and oncoming shifts to give work assignments and expectations to achieve production requirements and promote shift interaction and awareness
    • Monitors production for accuracy and efficiency and works with quality operators to ensure part quality/performance
    • Promotes safety through abiding by all related policies and procedures
    • Participates and leads training initiatives to improve personal and co-worker skill sets
    • Maintains a safe and clean work area through 5S practices
    • Demonstrates excellent skill and willingness to teach other more inexperienced technicians.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $16.00 - $21.00 per hour
