Surgeon - Trauma jobs in Madison, WI

Surgeon - Trauma examines, diagnoses, and surgically treats critically injured patients. Performs emergency procedures including endotracheal tube intubation, tube thoracostomy, pericardiocentesis, ultrosonographic evaluation, and peritoneal lavage. Being a Surgeon - Trauma reviews patient history and confirms need for surgery. Determines which instruments and method of surgery will be most successful in achieving desired outcome. Additionally, Surgeon - Trauma may provide medical personnel with direction concerning patient care. May provide in-service training as needed to address new technology in health care treatment. Provides charting in compliance with all laws and regulations. Requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Typically reports to the chief of surgery. Requires a license to practice.     Your Role as an Oral Surgeon with Midwest Dental

     

    The Ideal candidate for this opportunity will collaborate with us and will become an important player in the establishment of the practice from the ground up, since the specialty practice is new to the market. Furthermore, You will provide a wide range of oral surgery procedures for your patients ranging from placing implants to complex surgical extractions and providing support for our entire dental team at each dental practice you visit. You will have full autonomy over your patients and their oral surgery needs and you will not have to worry about the day-to-day operations of running a practice.

     

     

    Qualifications

    What We Need From You Clinically

    • Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) required
    • Oral Surgery Specialty Certificate * Oral Conscious Sedation and IV Sedation Permit
