Job Title : Sustainability & Building Automation Consultant
Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Sustainability & Building Automation Consultant to join our team. As a Sustainability & Building Automation Consultant you will play a crucial role in advancing our mission to transform buildings into intelligent and energy efficient spaces. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to apply your practical knowledge to optimize building systems and work on exciting projects that make a real impact.
Requirements
- Experience : Experience with electrical or mechanical systems (HVAC, electrical wiring, control systems, or similar fields.
- Education : A degree in Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical or a related field is a plus. Practical experience is highly valued.
- Certifications : Willingness to pursue certifications such as Niagara / Tridium or other building automation training within the first year.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and hands on troubleshooting experience.
- A keen eye for detail and commitment to high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently and mange tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills, to collaborate with clients and team members.
- Valid driver's license (for travel to client sites in Northeast Ohio).
Responsibilities
- System Implementation : Use your programming experience to help configure, troubleshoot, and maintain building automation systems (HVAC, lighting, control systems).
- Energy Optimization : Work with data to identify energy-saving opportunities and help clients reduce energy consumption through system scheduling and adjustments.
- Collaboration : Work closely with project teams to design and implement energy-efficient systems and provide technical support for clients.
- Site Visits and Inspections : Travel to client locations to perform routine system inspections, commissioning, and energy audits to ensure optimal performance.
- Training & Support : Provide training to clients on system use and maintenance, and offer ongoing technical support.
