Zions Bank has an opportunity for an intern to work in our Specialty Loan Servicing department. The intern will work on the following:
• Assist in preparing annual file reviews of various commercial loan products
• Analyze company financial statements, calculate and compare key ratios to industry averages
• Analyze personal tax returns and credit reports to calculate debt to income ratios and personal cash flow available to service debt
• Online research of specific individual owners, businesses, and industries and provide summaries of findings
• Assist in various data cleanup projects
Qualifications:
• Currently working on a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related degree
• Basic working knowledge of or interest in financial statements, credit, lending and underwriting processes and principles
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills(written and verbal)
• Detail oriented with analytical, organizational and problem solving skills
• Working knowledge of computer software programs including spreadsheets, word processing, etc.
