    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Limoneiras job descriptions describe the key areas of responsibility, but do not attempt to describe all activities or areas of responsibility.

    In most cases the description covers approximately 80% of an individual's daily, weekly or monthly job duties.

    • Assist the purchasing department by completing day to day purchases.
    • Provide support by analyzing system data and preparing purchase orders , soliciting bid proposals and reviewing requisitions for goods and services .
    • Conducting monthly price audits
    • Analyze procurement processes and procedures to identify ineffiencies and areas of improvement
    • Assure that policies and procedures concerning the procurement of materials, services, and equipment are followed by all team members.
    • Communicate to other departments in regard to changes and implementation in procurement processes.
    • Communicate with Accounts Payable, vendors, and departments to resolve various complex problems with services, equipment, supplies, materials, etc. This includes resolving invoice discrepancies.
    • Assit in month end reconcilation
    • Assist with Bill of Materials .
    • Create new items and work templates as necessary
    • Prepare monthly supply reports
    • Prepare excel spreadsheet for the BOMS
    • Implement and analyze reports relating to purchasing KPIs.
    • Plan and develop Standardize Operating Procedures (SOP) for the department.
    • Monitor international inventory levels and review for stagnant movement and re-orders.
    • Invenotry control .
    • Develop and maintain professional, critical supplier documentation
    • Oversee compliance of procedures that fall within the guidelines required for a public company.
    • Inventory
    • Develop and maintain vendor scorecards to effectively evaluate/monitor vendor programs.
    • Analyze and prepare recommendations as to policy, procedural improvements, forecasts, and projects.
    • Research and maintain market conditions, trends, and probable effect on supply and price of materials
    • Analyze forecast to place orders accordingly with enough lead-time period
    • Manage the process of receipts, credits, Purchasing Orders (P.O.s), documentation and designation of cost accounts
    • Works to utilize economically competitive sustainable packaging options
    • Comply and enforce all Safety and Food Safety rules and regulations
    • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor and management

    QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

    Must have a bachelors degree in business administration, accounting, economics, or related field. Minimum of five years work experience in accounting/ purchasing related field preferred.

    Must be computer literate in Microsoft Office and be able to collaborate with other individuals, functions and departments to achieve Limoneiras business goals; must be able to adapt to changes; must pay strong attention to details; demonstrate aptitude and precision working with numbers. Knowledge of purchasing/accounting policies processes, and procedures. Perform function with little or no supervision in a timely manner with acceptable quality. Ability to learn new software/processes.
