What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Develop automation procedures for solving various actuarial-related business problems
- Prepare data and templates for quarterly loss and LAE reserve analyses, ensuring proper documentation
- Support production and automation of internal and external financial and management reports
- Assist in ceded reinsurance placement by providing necessary data for broker submissions
- Collaborate with business unit representatives to evaluate and define business automation needs
What Is Required (Qualifications)
- College degree in computer science, business administration, or a related field preferred, or completion of computer technical school
- 3 to 5 years of related work experience
- 3 to 5 years of property/casualty insurance experience
- Commitment to improving skills and acquiring new competencies over time
- Ability to anticipate and respond to customer expectations and needs
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Experience in developing and documenting programming code related to actuarial applications
- Familiarity with regulatory reports and bureau data calls
- Previous experience in pricing review data for commercial and personal lines
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with team members and clients
