Role Purpose
To support the Research Operations team to deliver effective operational and administrative support to Investment Research with a particular focus on stewardship and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpreting and implementing relevant sustainability-related regulation (e.g SFDR, TCFD, SDR)
- Assist with sustainability-related regulatory disclosures
- Analyse company and portfolio level data which supports our Additional Objective Portfolios processes
- Analyse climate data at company and portfolio level in order to support regulatory disclosures and the Investment Research team
- Support Walter Scott’s broader investment stewardship activities, e.g. proxy voting and engagement
- Liaising with the Investment Research team, and Client Communications/Client Service, with stewardship documentation/ad hoc requests
- Preparation of management information for relevant Committees and Groups
- Preparation of other stewardship and sustainability related information for client reports and RFPs
Other Responsibilities
- Liaising with Research Operations team members - all areas of responsibility
- To provide holiday/absence cover and support for other team members within the department as and when required
- Any other duties as reasonably requested by management from time to time

Academic/Professional Qualifications (or equivalent)
- University degree or equivalent
