DESCRIPTION OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
a.Serves as system analyst for Human Resources, working directly with the Senior ERP admin.
b.Query and analyze data, and create reports from the College’s ERP System (Banner) using SQL and Argos daily.
c.Analyzes, performs upgrades, recommends improvements, and maintains working knowledge of Banner modules. Utilizes Banner’s support database for new inquires.
d.Maintains documentation on tasks, security, and system processes.
e.Maintain, monitor and troubleshoot security and HR systems’ day-to-day performance. Identifies issues and errors with ITS and System Admin department.
f.Plan, evaluate, and test software/ERP updates in coordination with ITS department.
g.Serve as Human Resources liaison to departments for data. Fulfill data requests and work collaboratively with Business Support Team (Banner Support Team).
h.Responsible for technical support, maintenance, and running processes of FLAC (Faculty Load and Contract) module in Banner and notification system in Argos.
i.Researches, analyzes, supports and recommends new technologies and/or changes to HR Systems, modules, and processes while maintaining system integrity, consistency, and security with minimal software customization.
j.Stays informed on developments, techniques, and practices related to system analysis.
k.Responsible for project management of all HR related system installations and modifications.
l.Update and maintain data and HR systems where necessary.
m.Commitment to and thorough understanding of continuous improvement.
n.Inform Director of HR and HR Department on changes/implementations.
DESCRIPTION OF OTHER DUTIES:
a.Researches and keeps abreast of new Human Resource technology, which would improve or automate Human Resources processes.
b.Assists staff in the administration of local, state, and federal requirements and College policies, procedures, and programs.
c.Collaborates with Payroll and Finance in business process analysis and solution development, as directed.
d.Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

PRINCIPAL WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:
a.Works directly with the Director of Human Resources and Senior ERP systems Administrator. Works cooperatively with all Human Resources Department staff.
b.Works cooperatively with ITS staff and other system administrators and coordinators.
c.Works collaboratively with payroll and finance to ensure workflow between HRIS and payroll/finance systems.
d.Works cooperatively with Planning and Institutional Effectiveness (PIE) and all other college employees, unions, software vendors, government agencies, and other third parties.

a.Bachelor’s degree (related to ITS or System Admin) required Or an Associate’s Degree with two years of demonstrated SQL experience.
b.Experience working with databases and report writers required or ability to obtain coursework and/or training to learn and apply knowledge to essential duties within 9 months.
c.Experience with SQL and/or Argos/Visualization and Reporting Software preferred or ability to obtain coursework and/or training to learn these applications within 9 months.
d.Preferred College Course Work: SQL, Database Design, modeling, ERP/SAP, Systems Development, Project Management ERP, HRIS, and/or Ellucian Banner experience preferred.
e.Experience with Microsoft Office programs required.
f.Demonstrated analytical ability required.
g.Knowledge of Human Resources practices preferred.
h.Experience, with unions preferred.
i.Knowledge of other programming (Java, Python, C ) beneficial but not required.
