Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Systems Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience managing and maintaining server environments, ensuring data integrity, and optimizing infrastructure performance. This role will involve handling backup and recovery solutions, managing virtualized systems, and monitoring system performance to maintain smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and maintain Windows Server environments, including installation, configuration, updates, and patch management.
• Manage data backup and recovery processes to ensure data security and quick recovery in case of failures.
• Optimize and maintain virtualized environments using VMware or similar platforms.
• Monitor and troubleshoot server performance, network issues, and hardware failures.
• Configure and manage storage solutions to ensure efficient data access and security.
• Implement and monitor data protection strategies, including regular testing of recovery processes.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure the stability and reliability of the overall IT infrastructure.
• Maintain documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting processes.
• Ensure adherence to best practices in security, backup, and system performance.

Required Skills:

• Proven experience in Windows Server administration, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and user management.
• Experience with data backup and recovery solutions and monitoring tools.
• Knowledge of virtualization platforms like VMware or Hyper-V.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and system security practices.
• Hands-on experience with storage management and data protection.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure) and related services.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with cloud-based backup solutions.
• Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong documentation skills and the ability to maintain detailed records of system changes.
• Knowledge of automation and scripting (PowerShell, Python) to streamline system administration tasks.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
