Summary:
Systems Administrator employees provide client support for desktop-based software application, hardware configurations and system analysis. They provide assistance and solutions for integration between desktop and Bank specific applications, analyze and document current systems and procedures and assist the Network Engineer in the implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of computer servers and networks. They also work with the other administrators, and the IT department to resolve or implement new hardware for computers, printers, and other service systems for the company. They must be well versed in technology and have a strong ability to plan and organize systems to work better for the Bank.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Ensure the highest level of customer service in a collaborative environment with a keen focus on helping people resolve issues and problems as a point of contact with the Tech Support Desk.
- Communicate with branch employees and managers about ongoing issues, help to resolve them and travel to branches as needed or scheduled.
- Prepare documentation pertaining to the Core system and other systems as they relate to day-to-day operations.
- Assist with the completion of the backups for all network systems, as assigned.
- Assist with the testing of new and modified programs/software/hardware for completeness and accuracy.
- Assist in repairing, installing, and maintaining computers, server, switch, or firewall related hardware and software, as assigned.
- Assist in the implementation of new products and services.
- Assist with onboarding of new users and associated access forms.
- Install, test, and configure new phones, workstations, peripheral equipment and software.
- Contribute to the maintenance of the inventory of new and existing hardware through inventory software.
Requirements
Education, training, and experience:
- Familiarity with Windows environment, patch management, backups, virtual host environment, Exchange, Office and Apple products.
- 3 years’ experience in information security components.
- 5 years' experience as a technician in the computer networking field, within the last two (2) years, including maintaining and administering data and voice networks. Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures within a particular field.
- Experienced in documenting security issues.
- Successful completion of a high school diploma or GED.
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a related field, such as computer science or information technology preferred.

B. Computer, peripherals and Microsoft Office software.
- Ensure that others in the IT department are kept informed of all factors influencing workflow.
- Continually work to enhance end user experience through process improvement.
- Assist in the configuration, software troubleshooting, hardware enhancements, application deployments and infrastructure up-grades.
- Assist the help desk and other teams with troubleshooting to identify root cause, and provide technical support when needed.
- Assist with the patch management process to ensure that all company devices are patched or updated on a regular basis.
- Resolve assigned audit remediation items in a timely manner.
- Research security issues and make recommendations for any resolution needed to the Network Engineer or IT Director.
- Manage technology projects as they arise or as assigned.
- Perform server administration tasks (ex: user/group, security permissions, group policies, print services); research event-log warnings and errors; and monitor resources to ensure that systems architecture components work together seamlessly.
- Successfully complete required compliance training annually.
- Perform additional duties as assigned and work in other departments and branches as required.

- Experience with or knowledge of programming languages and operating systems, current equipment and technologies, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, system performance-monitoring tools, active directories, virtualization, HTTP traffic, content delivery, and caching.
- Experience in project management, application design and integration, and cloud computing.
