About This Role
CT Operators at ESi work on a team of technologists to provide nondestructive imaging of artifacts and exemplar components during forensic inspections. They image a wide array of products from industrial clients and post-process CT data into visualizations to inform engineers, attorneys, clients, and stakeholders involved in litigation.
In addition to operating the scanner, qualified applicants should be comfortable in a lab setting and possess skills in some of the following areas: macro/micro photography, materialography, microscopy, fixture design and fabrication, mechanical, structural, electrical, safety, automotive, and audio/visual services.
Candidates should have exemplary interpersonal skills and be able to work with a wide variety of personalities. They should be capable of managing multiple tasks with multiple staff members, identifying areas of optimization within the organization, and successfully implementing planned improvements. The role involves studying, recording, testing, repairing, calibrating, developing, and improving processes, products, and equipment. Candidates must have a firm understanding of organizational hierarchy and dynamics to effectively navigate and support different departments.
