Systems Engineering Technician assists systems engineers in the development of the systems infrastructure. Completes support tasks related to the design and implementation of hardware and/or software for the systems. Being a Systems Engineering Technician tracks and reports on systems performance. Requires a high school diploma. Additionally, Systems Engineering Technician typically reports to a manager. The Systems Engineering Technician works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Responsibilities:- Design of municipal civil and environmental engineering projects using AutoCAD and relevant modeling software technology.
- Perform and document engineering calculations.
- Assist in the preparation of technical specification materials.
- Support staff by completing design details and construction plan sets.
- Complete field observation, inspection, survey, and data collection duties.
- Assist in the preparation of engineering and construction cost estimates.
- Maintain accuracy and quality in work.
- The position requires a self-motivated, talented, dependable, detail-oriented, dedicated Engineer Technician who is able to multitask in a casual office environment that promotes both personal and professional development.
Qualifications:- AAS degree in civil technologies preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Practiced in AutoCAD Civil 3D and associated tools.
- Competent in Windows Operation System, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to work and communicate successfully in a team environment.
- Quality and accuracy shall be maintained in all work.
- All other tasks required to provide excellent service to clients.
- Helping to ensure the success and growth of the company.
- Integrity and ability to exercise good judgement.

About Allegany, Oregon
Allegany is an unincorporated community in Coos County, Oregon, United States. It lies at the upstream end of the Millicoma River, where the East Fork Millicoma River and West Fork Millicoma River join to form the main stem, a short tributary of the Coos River.
