Systems Engineering Technician assists systems engineers in the development of the systems infrastructure. Completes support tasks related to the design and implementation of hardware and/or software for the systems. Being a Systems Engineering Technician tracks and reports on systems performance. Requires a high school diploma. Additionally, Systems Engineering Technician typically reports to a manager. The Systems Engineering Technician works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job.   • Job Summary:

    Candid Color Systems, Inc. is currently seeking a Engineering Technician to join our growing team. The Engineering Technician will assist with the production facility running smoothly by troubleshooting, repairing, disassembling & rebuilding production equipment. Help maintain and stock consumables & equipment parts, cleaning and organizing work areas. Assist in maintaining consistent color and quality of all the equipment used in producing products. Assume other responsibilities as needed.

    Standard working hours are 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday. 1 hour for lunch.
    Busy season working hours maybe altered to fit the needs of production.
    We also work some weekends and extra hours during the busy season (April, May & June)

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Keep all production equipment up and running.
    • Troubleshoot and repair reoccurring equipment issues with the help of phone support if needed.
    • Order, receive, check-in and restock consumables and equipment parts.
    • Communicate clearly with Production Employees, Supervisors, Managers, Accounting, IT and Technical Team Members.
    • Help keep standalone printers supplied with chemistry and emptying waste chemistry.
    • Learn and assist in the recovering of silver from waste chemistry.
    • Help install, move, and rearrange equipment, power poles, air lines and network lines as needed.
    • Help with various building maintenance projects as needed.

    Job Requirements:

    • Must have dependable transportation to work.
    • Must have a history of excellent punctuality & attendance.
    • Must successfully pass color vision test.
    • Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
    • Mechanical aptitude a plus.
    • Good oral and written skills. Must be computer literate.
    • Proactive, organized, able to prioritize.
    • Must have a flexible work attitude.
    • A willingness to learn and try new things is a definite plus.

    Job Type:

    • Full-time

    Salary:

    • $17.00 – $20.00 per hour
