Job Title: Enterprise Engineering Systems Manager

Position Overview: As a CAD and PDM Administrator at Irwin, you will play a key role in deploying, maintaining, and enhancing enterprise-wide CAD and Data Management applications. Working closely with various enterprise-wide stakeholders, you will collaborate with internal clients to deliver CAD and PDM based solutions that meet their specific needs.

CAD and PLM Administration responsibilities run hand-in-hand with product development and launch. These current responsibilities include an aggressive launch of new product introductions within a cross functional team.  Individual responsibilities will help to establish products and options within the CPQ(Infor) and ERP(Plex) systems. Working effectively in and outside the IT group is a must.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and manage user accounts in all areas of CAD and PDM
• Work within IT to manage engineering related network servers and security
• Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements
• Support documentation and application of best practices
• Manage licenses, yearly CAD subscriptions and upgrades
• Approve all PDM related promotion requests in conjunction with Engineering
• Evaluate and enhance visualization services, permissions, licensing, and content
• Key stakeholder in the development and launch of new product and product options.
• Lead person in establishing data flow as integrated with Lifecycle management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field required.
• Basic understanding or ERP and CPQ business systems.
• Experience with license allocation, management and maintenance.
• Experience with product development and cross functional product launch.
• Experience with Engineering visualization applications, implementation, and maintenance.
• 5 years PDM experience using Windchill PDMLink required.
• 5 years CAD experience using Creo/Pro-Engineer required.
• Knowledge of AutoDesk Vault preferred.
