The Associate Director of Talent Acquisition provides leadership, support, and advocacy to the Talent Acquisition team. This team is comprised of staff who provide recruiting support to hiring managers across the country. This role will serve as the communications lead for Operations leaders. This position will work with the Vice President of Human Resources to research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead the Talent Acquisition function and full cycle recruiting process for the organization, in support of an Employer of Choice and “People First” ideology.
- Direct the activities of Talent Acquisition team members.
- Facilitate growth and professional development of the Talent Acquisition team members.
- Develop, facilitate, and own all phases of the recruitment process.
- Co-lead, with the VP of Human Resources, the build and deployment of a skills-based hiring model across the organization.
- Collaborate with Marketing team and external resources to create and distribute branded content to prospective candidates across social media platforms and direct marketing campaigns.
- Work with internal stakeholders to develop new strategies and programs for candidate outreach and attraction.
- Establish qualitative and quantitative measurements of performance to ensure that outcomes are aligned with organizational objectives.
- Collaborate with HR and HCM system to ensure accurate data collection and reporting on recruitment metrics (time to fill, cost per hire, quality of hire, vacancy rate, etc.).
- Oversee budget for the Talent Acquisition department, including advertising and marketing expenses.
- Lead and executes sourcing strategies for the department.
- Develop a recruitment strategy for vacancies, including effective and efficient use of social media to attract talent.
- Sourcing through social media and recruiter platforms.
- Manage and leverage recruiting technology to enhance results and ensure process constancy.
- Collaborate with department managers to create or update detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
- Oversee preparation of standardized interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
- Lead communication and training on Talent Acquisition processes and best practices to managers, directors, and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the hiring manager, Human Resources staff, and Talent Acquisition staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
- Work with external recruiters and subcontract agencies to identify candidates.
- Track and manage subcontract agency contracts and placements.

Basic Qualifications/Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field with 7-10 years’ experience, or 10 years related experience.
- 3 years’ experience leading and developing team members.
- Strategic orientation with the ability to execute on a tactical level.
- Experience in recruiting for the healthcare industry.
- Highly developed customer relations skills to speak effectively with candidates, employees, management, and various outside groups.
- Strong program/project management skills with an emphasis on action.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
- Strong data and analytics skills.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
- Highly proficient computer skills and abilities, including MS Office Suite, Applicant Tracking software, really and LinkedIn recruiter platforms.
- Experience in sourcing candidates across the United States
- Ability to handle confidential information in an ethical manner.
Preferred Qualifications/Skills
- Advanced degree or 5-10 years’ experience
- Experience with Paycor HRIS/ATS
- Experience with Skills-Based hiring processes
- Talent Management or Talent Acquisition certification (e.g. SHRM Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential)
- Experience recruiting physical therapists and outpatient therapy clinic staff
