Our government client is currently looking for a Director of Transportation to join their team. They are seeking a highly motivated individual with great attention to detail. The Director of Transportation provides oversight and strategic direction for all activities in the Transportation Department, including Operations, Planning, and Fleet Maintenance functions. This includes: 1) oversight of staff managing daily operations of Fixed Route and Demand-Response transportation operations, including route planning, scheduling, dispatching, fleet management, safety, training, and regulatory compliance; 2) oversight of planning activities and staff, and 3) oversight of staff managing fleet maintenance functions.
