Successful entrepreneur is looking for a Director of Operations to own the day-to-day execution of their life. You will manage their household staff which consists of personal assistants, chefs, cleaners, and a trainer to ensure everything is running efficiently, oversee travel and the three residences with the primary being based in San Francisco, and partner with financial advisors and other important stakeholders to manage special projects. A strong operator who can take ownership of projects independently and has exceptional communication skills. Previous experience in a corporate, startup, or similar environment is highly preferred. Must be based in the Bay Area with the ability to go to the residence as needed in SF. 165-215K DOEResponsibilities:
- Run the Executive's personal infrastructure and manage staff that support the household. Create new processes and policies where and when needed.
- Manage the Executive's calendar and devise a protocol to prioritize high-impact matters while minimizing meetings and time spent on administrative work.
- Provide high-level framing and make sure everything in the Executive's personal life is running smoothly and efficiently.
- Coordinate personal travel, booking flights, transportation, and stays to various locations both domestic and international. Be on hand when the Executive is traveling to ensure smooth and low-stress travel.
- Act as a team leader ensuring that everyone is engaged, productive, and fully leveraged. As necessary, you will recruit and hire new team members.
- Manage multiple complex projects at once and build systems to track concurrent tasks. Efficiently delegate to your team when possible, but also be happy to tackle anything yourself.
- Act as an effective communicator and trusted partner to the Executive and stakeholders.
- Work alongside attorneys, CPAs, and family office team to form new entities and business ventures.
- Structuring operations for household and new business ventures.
- Negotiating contracts such as fractional jet ownership.
- Overseeing real estate purchases and construction projects.
- Managing application processes for foreign citizenship.
Qualifications:- Previous relevant experience. A more corporate background is ideal.
- Experience successfully managing multiple strategic projects and initiatives simultaneously under tight timelines and quickly shifting priorities.
- Exceptional EQ and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships.
- Strong work ethic. Set a high bar for the team.
- Ability to take initiative and handle any obstacles. Someone who is proactive, not reactive.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Concise and effective.
- Ability to take ownership and work autonomously. Be able to own projects, and have confidence to execute.
- Quick learner and excellent operator with a strategic mindset.
- Values empathy and trust in relationships.
- Extremely tech-savvy; resourceful and works well with ambiguity.
