Job Summary
The Director, Talent Acquisition oversees our global recruitment team and develops long-term strategies. He/she acts as a subject matter expert to develop solutions to complex staffing and recruiting challenges for multiple areas of the company. He/she ensures that staffing requirements are met to identify, attract and onboard top talent to efficiently and effectively meet dynamic business need across multiple workforce segmentations. He/she supports the Talent Acquisition team in achieving recruiting goals, establishing and iterating on processes that create efficiencies and ensuring PJI continues to hire top talent. He/she is a trusted advisor and thought partner with senior leaders on talent acquisition initiatives across the organization. This role builds a thoughtful, data-driven, best-in-class recruiting organization that supports PJI business objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for the leadership, design, development and execution of an effective recruiting strategy that enhances PJI’s business and diversity objectives across multiple workforce segmentations.
Oversee the management of contractual relationships with placement agencies, contract recruiters (retained and contingent), job boards, job fairs and various internet job search websites for posting requisitions and surfacing candidates
Assure the ATS/HRIS process is successfully supporting the recruiting process and providing data/metrics/analytics to help measure team performance. Lead associated technology implementations as needed.
Establish recruiting metrics and analytics that provide insights, guide decision making and measure team productivity and program ROI; measure team performance against maintaining consistent standards for all applicants and ensuring compliance with all local rules and regulations related to hiring and recruiting
Partner with leaders in HR, Diversity and Compensation to share market trend knowledge and develop cross-functional strategy to attract and retain talent through competitive compensation packages and offers
Lead and develop a distributed recruiting team, building a culture of growth and development and driving team performance and engagement
Assure the company image is positively promoted to candidates and external service providers and that PJI is represented in the most accurate and appropriate way to all candidates; assure the highest standards of ethical behavior for all involved in the recruiting process
Act as a subject matter expert in talent trends, technologies, best practices and regional talent availability; research and keep up to date of current recruiting trends and recommend recruiting strategies and activities to attract top talent
Education, Experience & Certifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
8 years experience as a Talent Acquisition manager, recruiter, Human Resources, Sales or related role
3 years in a people management role
Deep understanding of the global talent acquisition solutions
Experience with talent/employer branding, social media, sourcing, strategic partnerships
