    About the Role:
    We are seeking enthusiastic Educational Technicians to join a school district in Damariscotta, ME. In this role, you will provide vital support to students and teachers, fostering an engaging and productive learning environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals passionate about education and student growth.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assist classroom teachers in implementing lesson plans and supporting students’ educational goals.
    • Work one-on-one or in small groups with students requiring additional help.
    • Provide behavioral and academic support to ensure a positive learning experience for all students.
    • Monitor student progress and communicate observations to the teaching staff.
    • Create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
    • Support students with special needs, as outlined in IEPs or 504 plans, under the guidance of certified staff.

    Qualifications:

    • Associate’s degree or at least 60 college credits required.
    • Maine certification as an Educational Technician is required.
    • Previous experience in an educational or child-focused setting preferred.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and adapt to varying student needs.
