    This position requires a variety of tax accounting work to be done by applying generally accepted accounting procedures (GAAP and IFRS) in the preparation and maintenance of tax accounting records; including but not limited to: Sales and Use tax filings, BEA & Census reporting, Tax return preparation, audit and tax support and other financial accounting duties.

    What you will do:
    • Prepare tax provisions schedules, returns, payments, reports and maintain a company’s tax database
    • Estimate and track tax returns
    • Complete monthly, quarterly and annual tax returns & reports (Federal, State, Local, Property GST and any other as deemed necessary)
    • Transfer Pricing maintenance/scheme
    • Maintain tax records for fixed assets
    • Liaison for payroll taxation
    • Complete Tax-Exempt Certificates
    • Organize and update the company’s tax database
    • Recommend tax strategies that align with business goals
    • Prepare necessary paperwork for tax payments and returns
    • Share financial data with the accounting department
    • Identify tax savings and suggest ways to increase profits
    • Follow industry trends and track changes related to taxes
    • Liaise with internal and external tax auditors and auditors
    • Forecast tax predictions to senior management
    • Find tax solutions to complicated tax issues or errors from incorrect tax filings
    • Identify legal tax savings and recommend ways to improve profit
    • Advise management about the impact of tax liabilities and corporate strategies
    • Coordinate outsourced tax preparation work
    • Keep up to date with tax changes and industry trends
    What you will need:
    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting; 2-4 years corporate tax experience
    • Industry certification (e.g. CMA or CPA) is preferred.
    • Ability to work productively and focused to meet deadlines.
    • Advanced Excel experience required.
    • SAP experience required.
    • LATAM tax experience a plus.
    • Must be organized and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures
    • Problem Solving Skills
