Tax Accountant jobs in Little Rock, AR

Dillard’s, Inc. is looking for a tax accountant to perform routine tasks related to the Company’s property tax obligations and assist in the preparation of annual property tax returns. Dillard’s, Inc. corporate offices are headquartered in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and file all local property tax filings for partnerships and corporations
• Assist with the timely calculation and payment of real estate & personal property tax payments
• Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly reconciliations
• Perform tax research, analysis and planning to meet the company’s objectives
• Assist in tax audits, responses to notices and other tax-related inquiries
• Prepare state and local tax filings for partnerships and corporations
• Perform ad hoc projects assigned by management

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting recommended
• CPA license or CPA exam eligibility a plus
• 0-2 years of related experience
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Excellent time-management and communication skills
• Self-motivated, highly analytical and detail-oriented
