Job Description

We are looking for a CPA with 4 or more years of public accounting experience to join our team. The position will focus on taxes and will lead our tax department. Responsibilities will include preparing and reviewing corporate, partnership, estate, and individual tax returns. In addition to the tax responsibilities, the position will also include maintaining a client base which will require preparing book adjustments necessary to complete the monthly, quarterly, or annual accounting.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with departmental leadership to ensure smooth, accurate reporting processes

• Assist with project planning and recommend implementation changes that could ease the organization's tax burden

• Prepare and present quarterly reports detailing relevant tax information

• Work with leadership and key stakeholders to create a predictable tax season

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, CPA certification preferred

• Experience using CCH Pro Systems is recommended

• Strong understanding of tax laws and processes

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Expert-level knowledge of standard accounting software
