Our Tax Group assists clients with the organization and operation of their business enterprises, the planning, structuring, financing, negotiation and execution of business transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, spin-offs, restructurings, recapitalizations and joint ventures, and the development and execution of their personal tax planning strategies. For tax-exempt organization clients, we help obtain and maintain their tax-exempt status and limit their potential tax liabilities. We also help our clients establish and defend their tax positions in proceedings involving inquiries by, or disputes with, governmental tax authorities. We represent businesses, key executives, creative talent, entrepreneurs, investors, lenders, directors, advisors and consultants in the various industries that we serve, as well as tax-exempt organizations, individuals, trusts and estates.
